Be part of Brimbank’s response to climate change
Brimbank City Council has declared a state of climate emergency. This program is part of Council’s response to help households and businesses take positive action by making it easier to install a solar or battery storage system.
Who can take part?
This program is open to homeowners, renters/landlords and businesses in the City of Brimbank.
Who runs the Brimbank Community Solar Program?
This program is brought to you by the Central Victorian Greenhouse Alliance (CVGA), a not-for-profit organization that works with a number of councils to help encourage the uptake of renewable energy. The CVGA also runs the MASH (More Australian Solar Homes) Community Solar Bulk-Buy in Central Victoria which is the largest program of its type in Australia.
Giving back to community organisations in Brimbank
For every solar system installed through this program, we’ll donate one per cent of the system’s value to a community organization in the City of Brimbank. Up to six free solar systems will be donated to community groups through the Brimbank Community Solar Program.
Are you a community group who would like to apply to receive free solar panels as part of this program?
